Biography
Ashutosh Mishra, presently working as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India. He has worked as a Visiting Associate at the School of Computer & Statistics, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He received his Ph.D. in 2013 in Computer Science and Engineering Department from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU), Varanasi, India and B.E. in Computer Science from CCS University, Meerut, India. His research interests include software engineering, eye tracking, empirical studies, human factors, cognitive and psychological aspects in software development, and intelligent computing methods in neurodegenerative diseases. He has authored over 40 refereed publications. He has 14 years of professional experience in academics and the software industry. His aim is to find new solutions to the cognitive aspects in software development and other domains that challenge our world. He has successfully advised 02 PhD and 12-Master of Engineering theses and 02 ongoing PhD in cognitive and psychological aspects of software development.
