Surjit Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor and M.E. Coordinator in Computer Science and Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, since 2019. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor in NIT Kurukshetra, AIMT Greater Noida, IILM-CET Greater Noida, GLA University Mathura. He has 13 years of UG & PG teaching and research experience.
He has obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. He holds M.Tech. degree with Distinction and B.Tech. degree with Honors in Computer Engineering. He was the State Board Topper during his diploma course. He is serving as Guest Editor/Associate Editor/Reviewer for IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor 7 Francis, Inderscience and different journals of high repute. He has authored/co-authored more than 40 research publications. He has Four Books to his credit.
His areas of current interests are WSNs, Next-Generation/Advanced Computer Networks, Internet of Things, Blockchain Technologies, Information Security, Cloud-IoT collaborations, and Computational Intelligence.
