Dr. Rinkle Rani is currently working as Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. She obtained her B.Tech from SLIET, Longowal and MS from BITS Pilani, India. She received her PhD degree from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2011. She has more than 26 years of teaching experience. She has contributed 188 research publications, out of which 98 are in journals and 90 are in conferences. She has supervised 11 PhD and 50 ME students. Her areas of interest are Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning. She is member of professional bodies: ACM, IEEE and CSI.
